SMART Goals. Specific.  simple, sensible, significant. Example: I want to gain the skills necessary to be promoted to Sales Manager.  Measurable. meaningful, motivating. Example: I will increase my sales by 30% over the next 12 months.  Achievable. agreed, attainable. Example: I will complete 6 sales training modules over the next 6 months by scheduling 1 hour per week to train.  Relevant. reasonable, realistic and resourced, results-based. Example: I will use my training scores to evaluate my growth opportunities.  Time Bound. time-based, time limited, time/cost limited, timely, time-sensitive. Example: In 6 months I will have completed my training goals.
